On mTCG.app we do not compare shop prices, so there is no deals page here. You can check the market value of products and cards on their pages, and see what is going up or down in price in Price trends.
Price trends
On the Price trends page, which you will find in the Tools menu, you can see which products and cards are going up in price and which are getting cheaper. The ranking shows up to a hundred items whose price changed the most. Above the list you choose:
the item type: Products or Cards,
a game or All games,
the minimum number of shops or sale listings an item needs to enter the ranking,
the period: 7 days, 30 days (default) or 90 days,
the direction of change: Increases or Decreases,
sorting: By percentage or By amount.
When you open the page, you see the biggest card price increases of the last 30 days. Clicking an item opens a window with its price history, and from there you can go to the full card page.
How we calculate changes
We do not compare prices from single days. We take the median price of the last three days and compare it with the median of three days from before the chosen period, so a single bargain or a brief price spike does not change the result. The date of the latest prices is given above the ranking in a note starting with Prices from.
The ranking leaves out:
cards and products cheaper than the equivalent of 5 euros, because at low prices even a small change gives a large percentage,
changes smaller than one percent,
returns to the price from before a brief promotion or spike, that is changes from the last week after which the price goes back to its level from a month earlier.
Where the ranking prices come from
On mTCG.app the prices of products and cards are their market value, for cards in Near Mint condition. We only include items with at least ten sale listings, and cards by default with at least 50. You can change the threshold in the filter above the ranking. Amounts are shown in euros or in the currency selected in the page header.
Cards from the newest sets whose price changed the most over the last 7 days are also shown on the home page, and the View all trends button takes you from there to the full ranking.
Market indicators
Above the ranking you will find three indicators, which we calculate for all tracked items of the chosen type and game that meet the chosen threshold of shops or listings:
Weekly balance: what share of items went up in price over the last 7 days and what share got cheaper. Below it we give the same for the last 30 days.
Above average: what share of items now costs more than their average price over the last 30 days.
Highs and lows: how many items are at their highest and how many at their lowest price in 30 days.
Release calendar
The Release calendar shows upcoming and recent releases of sets and products. You can switch between the Calendar and List views, pick a single game, and use the Today button to go back to the current date.
After clicking a release, you will see its details, and the View details button takes you to the set or product page.
