mTCG works in the browser on any phone. You can also add it to your home screen, and then it opens like a regular app: with its own icon, full screen and without the address bar. You can only scan cards with your phone's camera in this app.
Android
Open our site in the Chrome browser.
After a moment, an Install app prompt appears at the bottom of the screen. Tap Install. If you don't see it, open the browser menu and choose to install the app or add the page to your home screen.
iPhone and iPad
Open our site in Safari.
Tap the Share button in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Choose Add to Home Screen and confirm.
On iPhone and iPad, this is easiest in Safari. Browsers built into apps, such as messaging apps, don't have this option, so if you run into a problem, open the site in Safari.
Bottom bar
In the app added to your home screen, you'll see a bar at the bottom that opens the most important parts of the site:
Home takes you to the home page.
Categories is the list of games and their products.
Scanner in the middle of the bar turns on the camera right away, and you take a photo of a card. You need to be logged in to scan. We describe the details in the Card Scanner article.
Collection opens your collections.
Simulator opens the booster pack simulator.
If you tap the item you're already on, the page scrolls back to the very top.
What you get
You open the card Scanner with a single tap and take a photo of a card with your phone's camera right away.
You launch the site straight from your home screen, and pages fill the whole screen.
