Team Up

Team Up is the ninth main set of the Sun & Moon era, built around the debut of TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX and the idea of combining two Pokémon on one card. The set has 198 cards and stands out for the pairs Pikachu & Zekrom-GX, Gengar & Mimikyu-GX, Latias & Latios-GX and Magikarp & Wailord-GX. Mechanically the series relies on high HP, giving up 3 Prize cards when a TAG TEAM is knocked out, and GX attacks with an extra effect when additional Energy is attached. On top of that come Prism Star, Full Art, alternate art and Rainbow Rare cards, so Team Up combines tournament strength with very recognisable collector cards.
