Miracle of the Desert

Miracle of the Desert is the second main set of the Japanese ADV era, the counterpart of EX Sandstorm, built around desert and fossil Pokémon. The set has 53 cards and focuses on early Pokémon-ex, with Typhlosion ex, Raichu ex, Gardevoir ex, Wailord ex and Aggron ex as the biggest names in the series. The theme is reinforced by the Cacnea-Cacturne, Trapinch, Lunatone and Solrock lines and the fossils Lileep, Anorith, Root Fossil and Claw Fossil, giving the edition a coherent, raw Hoenn atmosphere. On the gameplay side it also stands out for Rare Candy, Lanette's Net Search, Wally's Training and Multi Energy, cards that show the fast, technical pace of early EX well.
