Base Expansion Pack

Base Expansion Pack is the first main set of the Pokémon Card e era, opening the Japanese e-Card series with its theme of cards that work with the e-Reader. The set has 128 cards and introduces the characteristic dot-code frames, the split of the old Pokémon Power into Poké-Power and Poké-Body, and Technical Machine cards. Among the cards most associated with this edition are holo Charizard, Blastoise, Mew and Feraligatr, and the whole set is marked by the raw, technical card design typical of the early e era.
