To open your settings, choose My account in the account menu. They are split into three tabs: General, Security and Integrations.
General
At the top of the tab you see your plan and the buttons for managing your subscription, which we describe in the article Payments, changing your plan and cancelling. Below that you will find Profile information and the Badges you have earned.
Username
You can set or change your username with the Change button in the Profile information section. It can be 3 to 32 characters long: letters (Polish letters included), digits and the characters _ and -. Other users can see this name.
Preferences and Consents
In the Preferences and Consents section you will find:
Marketing Consents, your consent to emails about news, promotions and site updates.
Scan photos, your consent to saving photos of cards from the Scanner, which help us improve it. On plans with a daily scan limit, it raises that limit by a bonus, shown in the article Card Scanner. If you turn it off, we anonymise the saved photos.
Account language, the language we use for your emails and notifications, whichever site you happen to be on. You can choose Polish, English, Czech, Slovak or German.
There is also a Price notifications item here. The Set notifications button takes you to the alert settings, where you choose where and when you want to receive price updates.
Shopping
On the Czech and Slovak sites you will also find a Shopping section here. In the Delivery part you choose your delivery country, and in the Shops from countries part the countries of the shops whose offers you want to see. The Also shops that don't deliver to you switch also shows shops that do not ship to your country, which is useful for personal pickup or shipping through a forwarder.
We save these settings to your account and apply them on product pages, in alerts and in the Deal Radar.
Security
Two-step verification
Two-step verification (2FA) protects your account with an extra code from an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy. You need your account password to turn it on, so if you created your account through Google or Discord, set a password first.
Click Set up now and confirm your identity with your account password.
Scan the QR code in your authenticator app, enter the code it shows and click Activate.
Save your backup codes and click Finish.
To turn verification off, click Configure / Disable and then Disable 2FA.
Passkeys, password and devices
Passkeys let you sign in with your fingerprint, face recognition or device PIN, without typing a password. Add one with the Add key button; you can rename or remove each key you have added.
If your account has a password, the Change password button lets you set a new one, which must be at least 8 characters long. After the change, we sign you out on your other devices. An account created through Google or Discord gets a password through the Forgot password? page.
In the Signed-in devices list you can check where you use your account and sign out a chosen device. For security reasons, the list is available for 24 hours after you sign in.
Integrations
In the Integrations tab, in the Connected accounts section, you can connect a Google or Discord account with the Connect button, so you can sign in with it instead of a password. You can connect an account this way if it uses the same email address as your mTCG account.
The Disconnect button removes the connection. Your only sign-in method cannot be disconnected, as that would mean losing access to your account.
Changing your email address
If you want to change the email address linked to your account, write to us from your current address.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the General tab, in the Danger Zone section. We explain how to do it and what then happens to your data in the article Privacy and account deletion.
