Shop prices
We collect product prices and availability automatically from the publicly available pages of online shops. This way we check offers in many Czech and Slovak card shops every day.
We refresh the data regularly, so some time may pass between a price change in a shop and its appearance on the site. The amount in the shop's basket is always binding, so check the price, shipping cost and availability there before you buy.
In the offers table we show the product price given by the shop and, if we know a discount code for the shop, the price after the discount as well. In the Total column we add the shop's cheapest shipping, and when the price exceeds the shop's free shipping threshold, we count shipping as free. You can check fees for your chosen payment method in the shop.
Market value
We estimate the market value of cards and products automatically, based on publicly available sale listings from many marketplaces. Market value is for information only and is not a guarantee of the price at which you will buy or sell a card.
We show it in koruna on the Czech site and in euros on the Slovak site. We convert amounts at the European Central Bank's daily exchange rate.
Labels next to a card's valuation
US market valuation: a small US flag next to the price means we don't have a European valuation for this version of the card. In that case we estimate its value from sales in the US and convert it from dollars. We always estimate prices of graded cards, for example on the PSA scale, from sales in the US.
Outdated valuation: a warning icon next to the price means the card's latest valuation is more than seven days old. Hover over or tap the icon to see the date it comes from.
Price history and price rating
We build the price history in Czech and Slovak shops from the offers we collect every day. We convert prices in another currency at the European Central Bank's exchange rate from the day the price comes from. On this basis we calculate the typical price over the last 30 days and rate the current lowest price.
We give a rating when the history covers at least seven days and the product was usually listed by at least two shops. We look at how long in the last 30 days it was possible to buy cheaper or more expensively than now:
Good price: for at least 75% of that time the cheapest offer was more expensive than now, or the current price is at least 5% below the typical price.
High price: for more than 55% of that time it was possible to buy cheaper, or the current price is at least 5% above the typical price.
Typical price: the current price meets neither of these conditions.
When the history is too short or too few shops list the product, instead of a rating you will see History too short or Too few offers, because we have no point of reference.
To see how prices are changing across the whole market and what has gone up the most in recent days, check Price Trends.
Order of offers
We order offers by product price, and the switch above the table sorts them by price including shipping. Available offers are shown before unavailable ones, and archived offers at the end of the list. At the same price, a partner shop or an offer from an affiliate link ranks higher, followed by a shop with buyer-protected payments.
At the top of the table there may be at most two offers marked as Sponsored. This is a paid shop highlight given only to an offer that is available immediately, has no extra conditions and costs at most 10% more than the cheapest such offer. The other offers keep their order by price. We may receive a commission for some visits to shops, which does not affect the price you pay.
The How do we sort offers? button above the offers table summarises the same rules.
Spotted an error?
If the price, shipping or availability is wrong, click the flag icon labelled Report a problem on the product page. Every report helps us improve the data, and you can read more about reports in the article Shops, shop map and reporting errors.
You can report an incorrect card market value through the contact form. Tell us which card it concerns.
