Deals
On the Deals page, titled Biggest price drops, we have gathered products that are exceptionally cheap right now. There we compare the lowest shop price with the product's estimated market value.
You can narrow the list with the Search products... field or by choosing a game and set, and sort it by discount size, price or name. Products you have a price alert for are marked as Tracking. We also show the biggest price drops on the home page.
If you want to get notified about exceptionally cheap offers without checking the list by hand, turn on Deal Radar, available in the PRO plan.
Prices on this page are calculated for the default shopping settings, that is for shops delivering to the Czech Republic on the Czech site and to Slovakia on the Slovak site.
Price trends
On the Price trends page, which you will find in the Tools menu, you can see which products and cards are going up in price and which are getting cheaper. The ranking shows up to a hundred items whose price changed the most. Above the list you choose:
the item type: Products or Cards,
a game or All games,
the minimum number of shops or sale listings an item needs to enter the ranking,
the period: 7 days, 30 days (default) or 90 days,
the direction of change: Increases or Decreases,
sorting: By percentage or By amount.
When you open the page, you see the biggest product price increases of the last 30 days. Clicking an item opens a window with its price history, and from there you can go to the full product page.
How we calculate changes
We do not compare prices from single days. We take the median price of the last three days and compare it with the median of three days from before the chosen period, so a single bargain or a brief price spike does not change the result. The date of the latest prices is given above the ranking in a note starting with Prices from.
The ranking leaves out:
cards and products cheaper than the equivalent of 5 euros, because at low prices even a small change gives a large percentage,
changes smaller than one percent,
returns to the price from before a brief promotion or spike, that is changes from the last week after which the price goes back to its level from a month earlier.
Where the ranking prices come from
Product prices come from Czech and Slovak shops: every day we take the lowest price of an available offer. We calculate them for the default shopping settings, that is for shops delivering to the site's country. By default we show products available in at least five shops, and in the filter above the ranking you can go down to three. We do not show a change when the number of shops with an offer fell by more than a quarter or more than doubled during that time, for example when dozens more shops joined a few pre-order shops after release. We also do not count offers more than twice as cheap as in the other shops, because they usually concern a different product.
Card prices are their market value in Near Mint condition. By default we show cards with at least 50 sale listings, and in the filter above the ranking you can go down to ten.
Market indicators
Above the ranking you will find three indicators, which we calculate for all tracked items of the chosen type and game that meet the chosen threshold of shops or listings:
Weekly balance: what share of items went up in price over the last 7 days and what share got cheaper. Below it we give the same for the last 30 days.
Above average: what share of items now costs more than their average price over the last 30 days.
Highs and lows: how many items are at their highest and how many at their lowest price in 30 days.
Release calendar
The Release calendar shows upcoming and recent releases of sets and products. You can switch between the Calendar and List views, pick a single game, and use the Today button to go back to the current date.
After clicking a release, you will see the cheapest offer and the number of shops that have the product, so you know right away whether pre-orders have started. The View offers button takes you to the product page, and in the same window you can also set a price alert.
