BREAKthrough

BREAKthrough is a main set of the XY era, built around the debut of the BREAK Evolution mechanic and a strong presence of the Mewtwo line, including Mewtwo-EX and both versions of M Mewtwo-EX. The set's base list has 162 cards, and the pool also includes secret Mewtwo cards plus 8 BREAK cards such as Zoroark BREAK, Noivern BREAK and Raichu BREAK. The series stands out for gold, horizontally printed BREAK cards with distinctive holo, alongside Ultra Rare EX and Mega EX cards and playable Trainers such as Brigette and Parallel City.
