Ancient Origins

Ancient Origins is the seventh main set of the XY era, set in an atmosphere of ancient powers and Hoopa in its Unbound form, with strong ties to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The main list has 98 numbers, and its trademarks are Ancient Traits, new Special Energy such as Dangerous Energy and Flash Energy, and a pool of EX and M EX cards with Hoopa-EX, M Tyranitar-EX, M Sceptile-EX and Giratina-EX. Collectors are drawn most to the secret Shiny Primal Kyogre-EX, Primal Groudon-EX and M Rayquaza-EX, alongside full arts and cards still associated today with decks built around Vileplume and Forest of Giant Plants.
