Paradigm Trigger

Paradigm Trigger is the Japanese main set S12 from the Sword & Shield era, built around a theme of awakened legends and a mysterious island cut off from the world. The set has 125 cards and is most associated with Lugia VSTAR, Regidrago VSTAR and Unown VSTAR. The series is defined by the VSTAR and VMAX mechanics, including Regieleki VMAX and the Forest Seal Stone and Earthen Seal Stone tools, which give Pokémon V access to a VSTAR Power. Standouts in the chase pool are full-illustration SRs and HRs, and in gameplay terms the set is remembered above all for the Lugia VSTAR engine with Archeops.
