Neo Premium File 1

Neo Premium File 1 is a Japanese promotional mini-edition of the Neo era, released for the start of the Johto generation and built around the three starter lines from Gold and Silver. The set contains exactly 9 cards, Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium, Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion, Totodile, Croconaw and Feraligatr, sold as a premium file with a small album. The series is easy to recognise by its fixed, closed card list and variants without a rarity symbol, which sets it apart from regular Neo booster cards.
