Mystery of the Fossils

Mystery of the Fossils is the third main set of the original Pokémon Card Game era in Japan, built around a theme of prehistoric and "revived" Generation I Pokémon. The set has 48 cards and focuses on names such as Aerodactyl, Kabutops, Dragonite, Gengar and Mew, with a pool made up of holo rares, rares, uncommons and commons. The series' character is also underlined by the Trainer card Mysterious Fossil, which makes the fossil theme not just a matter of artwork but the backbone of the whole edition.
