Collection Moon

Collection Moon is the Japanese main set that opened the Sun & Moon era, built around Alola and the lunar theme of Lunala. The set has 73 cards, i.e. 60 base cards and 13 secret rares, and its best-known chase cards are Lunala-GX, Umbreon-GX, Tauros-GX and the Full Art and Hyper Rare versions of these cards. It also marks the debut of the Pokémon-GX mechanic with its once-per-game GX attack, alongside cards such as Lillie, Nest Ball and Rainbow Energy, which immediately gave the series a clear competitive backbone.
